Ah Jennifer I hear the sound of screaming as I write this reply. Don't give up. I've noticed that the way you are trying to reply doesn't always work for me either. It works for me if I go over to the subject then back again, then do vo-shift-m. Then I get the address, copy and whatever else is on that menu. It is definitely frustrating but once you find that exact thing you have to do to make it work for you it will go smoothly. I'd try going over to the subject once you've interacted then back to the name you want. I don't know if its a focus issue. Have you tried routing the mouse to the name you want with vo-command-f5?
