Some times, when that happens, I can use command-tab to go out of fusion, then, 
command-tab back in there and press the tab key a few times and it works again. 
 Every-so-often, I do have keyboard focus issues under fusion.  Also, if you 
have a mouse, you might be able to move it a little into the window and click  
once.  That can be tricky, though.
