Hello listers,
If anyone out there is successfully using Google Drive with Mountain
Lion, I'd be interested in knowing. I have updated two macs and in both cases
I get the message in the subject of this email. "Error, Google Drive folder is
missing."
I did have some trouble with Dropbox on one of the two machines and one worked
immediately. It took some time and lots of experimenting but I got Dropbox
working now on both machines.
With Google Drive I've tried every trick I can think of and nothing has worked.
I have tried to find the latest version as at one point it said I was using a
out dated version and needed to get the new one. It didn't seem to tell me
where to get it though.
So I found it with Google and then tried to install with no luck.
I then tried increasingly drastic steps finally completely shutting down and
Deleting the app. I then deleted the folder from my Mac. I then installed
again and yes the same error message shows up in the Mountain Lion Extra's
menu.
I'm hoping someone can at least confirm Google Drive works in Mountain Lion and
if possible give some tips as to how they got it working.
