Hey Mike, did you get my earlier post explaining the initial inaccessible
screens? the first time you run MainStage, it'll be a VO deadzone until it
downloads all its initial loops and synths (about two hours). Once you get
into the MainStage app proper, there's a "download additional content" item
in the "main stage" menu. That's where you check off all the jam packs for
downloading.

additional 19gb of instruments and loops. It was probably just a automatic
thing where MainStage saw I didn't have certain stuff, and decided to let
me know. Supposedly, Once installed, it'll all be accessible from GB.

You can buy Apple's Main Stage app from the Mac app Store which is around
$30 and comes with all the Apple JamPacks which work with GarageBand. I
bought this just as a convenient way of getting all the extra GarageBand
material - I don't actually use Main Stage. I think it includes, among
other things, an additional 15000 Apple Lupes. You should check it out.
