Hey Alex, Try this. First, try flipping your table around. So, you have your headers across the top row, at the top of each column: A1, B1, C1, D1, E1. Then, A2 might be, for instance, date. B2 would be starting milage, C2 end milage, D2 excluded milage. IN E2, type =C2-B2-D2. Not sure if this step is completely necessary, but it makes better sense to me and it at least works. Second, select all the cells in the total milage column. So, starting in E2, hold shift and press the down arrow until you've selected all the cells in that column you want to have a total. Then, navigate to the menu bar, Insert, Fill, and choose down. That should give you the result you want. Fill basically copies the formula from the starting cell, but modifies it so it's relative to the cell being filled, if that makes sense. You probably can do this around the other way you had originally, using fill right instead of fill down, but I'm not sure how that would go with headers. Cheers, Nic
