Hi,

On your second Mini, make sure that File Sharing service is turned on.  In the 
Sharing pane of System Prefs, check the box for File Sharing in the Services 
Table.  Likely, your Mini is broadcasting that it exists but if you haven’t 
enabled the File Sharing service, then connecting to it is difficult.
