Hi, What do you exactly mean by "it works". Are you saying that the Help Centre app opens but you aren't able to navigate the page or are you saying something different? Regarding repairing disk permissions, this process will not hurt anything. It is just a regular MacOS process that helps to clean up things in your MacOS so that it runs smoother. Sometimes, during the installation of apps, permissions get jumbled up for no real reason and the Repair Disk Permissions will usually fix these sorts of issues.
