Old description:

New description:

 installed lastest version of madwifi on crux yesterday and got the NIC
 (netgear WG311T) connected to another AP. but when trying to turn it into

 i get the error

 and when i try

 i get the error

 wlanconfig: ioctl: Input/output error
 }}}

 what have i done wrong?

 Which revision of madwifi-ng are you using?

 In addition, please provide a full dump of the messages that are printed
 to the system logs when the modules are loaded.

 Did you destroy the STA VAP before trying to get the AP VAP up?
