Using Debian Etch x86
I always use "--append-to-version" on my kernels so that my kernel names
look like:
2.6.16.18.060525[[BR]]
2.6.17.3.060704
where the extra numbers are the date of compilation.
Installing the "debian way" with module assistant work fined on 2.6.16.18
but now it fails before even producing any helpful log info. So I tried
the other method and get this:
hostname# make-kpkg --added-modules madwifi-ng modules[[BR]]
exec debian/rules DEBIAN_REVISION=2.6.17.3.060704-10.00.Custom[[BR]]
KPKG_SELECTED_MODULES="madwifi-ng" modules[[BR]]
The changelog says we are creating 2.6.17.3.060704, but I thought the
version is 2.6.17.3[[BR]]
make: *** [modules] Error 1[[BR]]
Any thoughts on how I can get madwifi installed? Thanks.
