The version string you've mentioned above says you were using r1500, while
the current latest revision is r1676. There have been a lot of changes to
the build system, and it's very likely that one of these changes fixed the
bug you've seen. So I close this ticket for now as invalid, since the bug
most probably is not existing anymore in recent revisions.
However, if it turns out that this problem still exists in the latest
version, feel free to reopen the ticket.
