It looks to me that the signal is very low for some reason - either the AP
is very far away, or some antenna is disconnected. Yet the card is
associated to the AP. The high "Rx invalid nwid" may indicate that there
is another AP nearby.

i try to be more clear:
i have a modem (eth and wifi) linked with a router (a sitecom dc202) that
is linked with an ap (a d-link dwl2100);
in the same situation (same configuration, same distance and same ap -
modem or d-link, there isn't difference- , but different kernel) with 686
kernel i can use internet, with amd64 kernel, no.
