Hello:
I have a compaq presario F700 laptop and it has this wireless card:
03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x 802.11abg
Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
I was told to look at this ticket and it basically says to compile the
HAL-0.10.5.6 drivers. I checked it out from svn, compiled and installed
the drivers.
And they work...when they do. It can only connect at certain times....
sometimes it will work perfectly, but then i restart/suspend the computer
and then it just flat out refuses to reconnect to the access point.
Sometimes if i unload ath_pci and wlan_scan_sta then reload them it will
connect, but the fact that its so erratic on when it connects makes me
think that this might be a bug
Ill keep checking back so if i need to post anything that might help,
please ask.
