Yes, it does look a bit discouraging, but take heart -- I am
running Mahogany 0.64 on Mandrake Linux 8.1. It will work. :-)

Since I am not a Mahogany programmer (not even close) I'll let
someone else (most likely Vadim or Nerijus) handle the technical
issues. I just want you to know that it will work and is worth
the effort, at least IMHO.

That's good, but there are two sets of instructions, at least
there were a few months ago when I did this. :-) One thing that
comes to mind from my own history is a comment from Vadim:

You might give that a try while waiting for one of the wizards
(who are pretty quick).

You have come to the right place. Mahogany support from the
development team is very good. (I am amazed that they get any
development done after being distracted with user questions.)

Yes, that does explain a bit. I also had trouble when trying to
include the embedded Python interpreter. The answer I got is
that Python doesn't do much useful yet in Mahogany; if it causes
trouble don't include it. :-)

FWIW, I also had a bit of trouble with the PalmOS conduit option.
You might want to leave that one disabled for now, too.
