I can do the programming part, but alas not the time part right now.  :-(

I'd look at using XML type storage.   That would make it much easier to 
import, export, search, and change.

Tired programmers make mistakes.   So don't give up the sleep, give up the 
wife and kids, and job instead...

I've been using POP3 with 0.64 on my W2000 machine at work and have not 
noticed any problems.
