Hi, I'm a new Mahogany user. I installed it at home and at work and I have a few questions. If anyone knows the answers, please let me know.
- M crashes systematically after I quit the first time. Starting up, importing everything, configuration and even using it at first, worked fine. But after I quit, I could never restart it. It starts, shows a tip, says it removed a stale lock then dies. I don't understand it. The only thing I can come up with is that when I first imported my INBOX, it found some messages with an unknow encoding and asked me what encoding I wanted to use. I chose 8859-1. Could that have something to do with it? I removed the flags that say to open folders automatically, hoping to figure it our one mailbox at a time, but no dice. :-( - Can I make the SentMail folder point to an existing file? - Are there plans to support Drag and Drop to move folders around? I imported a complete directory from my drive and I find it a bit cumbersome to move folders around using the Folder | Move menu. - How can I change the content of a reply based on the Delivered-To field? Do I need to write a plugin for that?& Specifically, I want to include an automatic message in my replies if a the To field is a specific address and the Delivered-To heading contains a specific string. - How do I configure MIME handling? Also, can I have the name of an attachment appear right under the attachment instead of on the status bar? And I think that's it for now. Thanks for any answer you can provide!
