Most important bug:
Mahogany sometimes (not so often) enters a loop
and consumes all of the CPU until closed. Often
this situation is visible as flickering of a
line or two in the folder view.

Annoying new (?) development:
Occasionally the Print and PrintPreview functions
are lost in specific folders. (I observe this
only in NewMail, where it comes and goes, and
SentMail, where it is long gone, as far as I can
tell.)

Text only viewer:
Too slow!!

Needed selling points:
As developers have already commented online, the
composer needs to be replaced. I use an external
editor so this does not often affect me, but I
think it is huge from a PR perspective. (Bizarre
and ignorant speculation: does the AbiWord technology
offer anything useful for the Mahogany composer?)

Minor gripe:
The expunge on exit dialogue is backwards. If you
have a folder where you want to use this dialogue
as an extra check, you have to uncheck the "don't
show this dialogue again" option each time. This
is one of Mahogany's few bad user interface decisions.

Enhancement:
the folder list still does not really sort alphabetically.
I suggest you should be able to right click on AllFolders
and ask for an alphabetical sort. I would also like to
be able to determine the order in other ways (e.g., by
dragging a folder to a new location).

Enhancement:
Currently the composer can't edit multipart/alternative
messages, but that ability would be nice.

Enhancement:
Allow direct editing of msg headers.

Enhancement:
I don't want to see the Fcc: line in the Composer unless
I ask for it. Allow turning this off by default and
allow asking for it to display in the Composer (perhaps
with a "show all headers" button).

Enhancement:
Allow parentheses in address fields. (Parenthetical
text currently disappears.)

Comment:
I have not been able to tolerate other email agents
since I started using Mahogany! Is this a problem? ;-)

Thanks,
Alan
