Hi Friends Last week , one of my family friend asked me advice on good course for graphics and multimedia here in Dubai. I scanned for reputable institutes. Checked them with the syllabus. One institute I checked was MAHE, Dubai . they have one year certificate course "http://www.manipaldubai.com/InformationTechnology/Programs/CertificateProgram/Pages/GraphicsandMultimedia.aspx"; . I checked with the syllabus. There was no mention of any of the Open Source graphics Applications, like Inkscape, GIMP etc. I gave my feedback saying that my friend want to join the course and we would like to join institutes which can provide exposure to this packages. Few days after I did receive the call from them. I explained to them about this applications and why I do prefer recommending them to others. I tried my best in making them understand.
