Thanks for the mail. It is a good idea to sign a mass petition. If they are
convinced that GIMP , inkscape and other tools are needed for the course , they
will change it for the students benifit
I did post to DubaiLUG,I expect some else also might have given feedback to
manipal. May be if we can a have a petition more people from DubaiLUG will sign
for it

from them. I explained to them about this applications and why I do prefer
recommending them to others. I tried my best in making them understand. Hope
it might make some changes.
