You wish. If others in this list also thinks I'm making a "false blanket
statement" let them come forward and correct me. Keep your individual
differences to yourself.

Maybe. Folks I've met wasn't very evangelical enough to coerce and convert
Windoze people. I'm in for advocacy and spreading awareness, not forcible
conversion.

I am not Wikipedia :)

I've ran a BSD running KDE etc etc. I know how it looks. But that's not what I
meant.

People ask questions so they can _know_!

I'm just reading about UFS2, and I couldn't find a source which says it does
support journalling. So, does it have some technology to beat unclean shutdown,
something which helps us for a home system?

Linux kernel was written with low-cost, home hardware in focus, so there were a
lot of design that went into it which was home system friendly. Anyway, please
state your facts, they are informative.

I can see kernel updates almost weekly at LKML/LWN.

This thread would have been a LOT MORE interesting if it was not for your
condescending attitude and rude poke at people's opinion.

Anyway, I don't mind. You really show you're from the BSD-camp.

I'm in. More than happy to absorb new knowledge.

I feel sorry for her ;-)
