It's odd, Gmail forwarding rewrites the envelope sender to be Gmail, so
forwarding bounces should go back to Gmail, not you.  They could be
fetching the mail with pop and then forwarding it.  I didn't know they had
that feature, but given that we do, it wouldn't surprise me.

Unfortunately, forwarding through O365 (which Hotmail is quickly becoming)
can break dkim signatures, so that part isn't uncommon.  Last I heard, they
were working on that.
