There are a lot of reasons that ESPs will stop customers from being able to mail recipients - recipients who complain, and addresses that bounce, etc. It’s possible that it was a global domain block but those are typically rare. The other possibility is that the recipient gave the sender a bad address and the mail is going to the wrong place.
