It is related to a question that someone asked here - why would people want to use open resolvers? That question in the beginning was asked without being related to MTA. :) I jest described one possible reason why people would want this. As for MTA, theoretically these domains might have an MX and accept mail, so this is somehow related to mailop :) > b) are not these open resolvers contributing to illegal activities?
