NOTE: I'm now seeing confirmed reports that this has spread beyond ESPs - and is impacting mail hosters who send extremely little spam - nor even ads - these are hosters who only have "brick and mortar" customers and where the hoster doesn't tolerate ANY spam-sending and doesn't allow over-the-internet sign-ups for mail hosting - where 99% of their outbound messages are either transactional or hand-typed
Many members of Mailop are in that category. We certainly are, and reported this problem early on. They may not be as visible because they often don't know about communities such as this one (although a "coincidental" influx of new members may show that's changing a bit)
