Hi Daryl,
I have tried to duplicate the problem but never got the "Still Loading"
problem. I have Safari 3.2.1 and Gears/Gmail Offline.

After doing some research I found a possible problem: There's a cache that
can get corrupted (Mailplane clears that cache when it is updated). I'll
prepare a version that will physically delete this cache. It would great if
you could give it a try:

http://mailplaneapp.com/downloads/Mailplane_1115.tbz

   1. Open Console.app
   2. unpack the archive and start Mailplane.
   3. You should see 4 lines like these:

*2009-03-19 17:16:49.222 Mailplane[79036:10b] [DEBUG] found caches dir
/var/folders/fx/fxtvGSa3ENqVAaY4wUS2z++++TI/-Caches-/com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane
*

*2009-03-19 17:16:49.223 Mailplane[79036:10b] [DEBUG] Delete Cache - will
process path
/var/folders/fx/fxtvGSa3ENqVAaY4wUS2z++++TI/-Caches-/com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane
*

*2009-03-19 17:16:49.223 Mailplane[79036:10b] [DEBUG] Delete Cache - will
process path
/var/folders/fx/fxtvGSa3ENqVAaY4wUS2z++++TI/-Caches-/com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane/Cache.db
*

*2009-03-19 17:16:49.225 Mailplane[79036:10b] [DEBUG] finished deleting
cache
/var/folders/fx/fxtvGSa3ENqVAaY4wUS2z++++TI/-Caches-/com.mailplaneapp.Mailplane

It should not say "error (error description) deleting path".

BTW: I am very much interested in your Safari findings!

Thanks.
