Hi Clark;

Thanks for writing.  Sorry to hear about the issue.
Do you have chat running in any of your active Mailplane accounts?  If so,
could you try disabling it from Preferences > Accounts > Advance…  This
sometimes does slow things down on our end, and we're working on that!

Please let me know if the issue remains.
