I'm also still getting terrible flickering during scrolling in MailPlane. It's been happening for at least a couple months - I do not remember exactly when it started. I'm currently using MailPlane 3.5.3 on OS X 10.10.4 on my 2014 Retina MBP.
When scrolling the mail list view, the portion of the view that is scrolling flickers terribly with very large white blocks or background color blocks. I'm using the Dusk theme, but same thing happens on other themes. Scrolling is perfectly smooth in both Safari and Gmail.
