Hi! Can anyone help me identify the source of the inscription on this photo taken from a web blog and accessed via google pictures: The odometer is depicted on a number of sites but I have only found it with the additional text - Here is the odometer he gave to Thomas Jefferson - on an obscure blogsite. Does anyone know if the inscription is true or where the original information came from? [Franklin + odometer = 3 views of same but no text] [Jefferson + odometer = 3 views of same, one with this text] [Image comes from _pigtown-design.blogspot.com_ (http://pigtown-design.blogspot.com/2009/07/maira-kalman-benjamin-franklin.html) but no indication of source and I suspect a dead end.] Many thanks Kit This email has been sent to you by: Kit Batten Auerhahnweg 7 70499 Stuttgart Germany [email protected] 0049-711-865524 If you are not the intended recipient of this email, I apologise for my error and for any inconvenience caused.
