Robert,
Have you tried printing to a file ?. This, as far as I understand it, is a
process which saves the instructions your computer would send to the
plotter if you had one, as a file. The file can then be taken to the
plotter and the plot produced.
Despite all the problems associated with it, reported in this list, pdf is
another option. You would need to buy Adobe Acrobat writer for your PC.
It appears as a printer in your list of printers. When you choose it a
"pdf" file is produced. This pdf file can be taken to the place with the
printer and using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader opened and printed to the
plotter.
imho either of the above options would produce vastly superior results to
the solution you have been employing.
Please accept my apologies, if late on a friday, I missed something in your
email which precludes these simple solutions.
