For anyone interested in understanding MapInfo's upcoming move to
a .NET core, check out Adena Schutzberg's article, "MapInfo and
.NET" at

(You have to manually scroll down to it as the headliner links in
the newsletter don't work.) She gives a good overview of what
we'll be seeing in MapXtreme and MapX this fall and by next
spring with ver. 8.0, MapInfo Pro. The ad for ESRI's ArcView at
the base of the article is amusing positioning... should we all
click through it to mess with the minds of the marketing wizards?
