PS STRONGLY recommend looking at Eric Mauvieres map publishing tool from an earlier post - only looked at the gallery but its a fascinating example of a way to put maps out. I'm still a bit vague on how this will work (or even if I understand it correctly), but I don't think MapBasic developers need to worry about ver. 8. Of course, the writing's on the wall, so I guess we better study up on MS Visual Studio .NET and XML. What little I know now of .NET does seem interesting, but like it or not, it's a Microsoft world.
