You can also run the link function of MapBasic as:

"C:\MI_Link.bat" "%p%n"
Code in the C:\ MI_Link.bat:

@Echo off
start/wait MAPBASIC.EXE -NOSPLASH -L -D %1.mbp
if exist %1.err type %1.err

Also to run the MBX:

"C:\PROGRA~1\MAPINFO\PROFES~1\Mapinfow.exe" -nosplash "%p%n.MBX"

Config the key mapping, so Ctrl-K is to compile, Ctrl-L is to link, and
Ctrl-U is to run, just like in the MB.
