Hi ppl!!
I am student of Computer system Engineering and working on my
final on my final year proejct "Map Digitization Framework with Route
planning and real time tracking through GPS"
I have successfully pre-processed the map and after vectorization generated
a digitized vector map in SVG format using my framework.
I have generated seperate layers for each object..
I am now looking what useful features of GIS i can add to my project ( i
already have a vector map) ... Since i dont have very good knowledge of GIS,
so please guide me what things do u expect from a GIS framework which
converts raster mapt o vector map. Please guide..
i am already extracting information like area of landscape or any other
object, centroid, perimeter + my framework also tell u the shortest path
between any two points on map..
for Scale of map what do u recommend??
