I'm not sure why there are two (hopefully someone more knowledgeable will fill us in?), but I do know that it's really irritating when you close your "Legend of ..." window and can't get it back unless you remove your thematic and recreate it. I always thought the Display Legend window should bring that window back, but it only brings up the "Theme Legend" window...
