Gah!  How long has this option been there?  I looked all over for it and could never find it.  Thanks!

So, uh, that brings me back to my previous question...  Why does there need to be a “Theme Legend” window and a “Legend” window?  Seems like just one of the two would be sufficient…

Hi Evan

If I understand your issue correctly, there is no need to re-create the thematic to regenerate a "Legend" window.

With the thematic layer still in the layer control list and with the relevant Map window active, simply go to the "Map" pull down menu and choose "Create Legend".

On the right-had side is the list of layers that will appear in the Legend.  Typically, the thematic layer/s will appear at the bottom of the list.

Simply remove all of the other layers and leave the thematic of interest and hit the "Go" button and you should find you've regenerated a Legend window.

Hope this helps.
