Thanks Phil,
You're right the number you gave doesn't require my credit card
number...and I talked with a tech support rep and she recommended
a thorough cleaning using a damp lint-free cloth of the "service bay"
(area where cartridges dock) and of the contacts in the cartridge
box as well as on the cartridges themselves. I'll have to break out my
cleaning supplies and go to it.
As an aside, she also mentioned that the cartridges can get
electrically "blown-out" if they receive a half volt or higher and to
check my neutral to ground connections. She didn't think this was
the case with my unit as the color cartridges are working fine.
I'll keep the list posted as to what works and if anyone else has any
recommendations please respond.
