Hello all,

Mapinfo L contains several questions relating to this topic, but there
doesn't seem to be any _answers_. Maybe it just needs to be raised every
six months or so to draw attention to it.

The question is.. How can I export a layout to some format which can be
used in another program? Ideally it would be dxf, as lots of info would be
preserved. I've experimented with postscript and illustrator, with very
little success. I've searched everywhere for a dxf printer driver, which
doesn't seem to exist but would be a great idea. How about hpgl, there are
some converters out there for that I think, anyone tried it.

I suspect this is a newby question and the old hands have just accepted the
fact that you have to create a bunch of tables which have been windowed to
the limits you want and export them individually. Is that it?

Thanks for any ideas on this. I am using MI 4.1

cheers
