Maybe less than 99,9 % list activity is focused on MapBasic, but in my opinion
Laurence's impressions are worth considering: users who are absolutely new to
MapInfo may be impressed by the flood of MapBasic topics on this list.
New or less experienced MI users have completely different problems than
advanced users. Moreover, some people are too shy to ask beginner's questions
at this place.
Most of these questions can be answered using manuals, contacting MI support
or reading FAQ lists, but in my opinion there is an information supply gap
between leaving the ''complete dummy'' stage and entering the MB programmer
stage.
