I'd be interested in that too. I have used Maptitude for years. I like a lot
about MapInfo too and at least for a while I have the luxury of using both
and ArcView, more like learning more and more about MI and ArcView as my
organization has all of them. I can't put MI in health departments in my
state because it just too expensive, but Maptitude goes for $400 and I have
a feeling they would even be receptive to even drop that if we bought enough
copies. No deal like that from MI. ESRI will drop their price but not to
$400. Actually I think a really comprehensive list of which package does
what would be very useful for users who need GIS but are not in love it as
much as we are.
