Dear David

You can associate workspace files!

All you need to do is load explorer:-
        Select View Menu
        Folder options
        File types

and add ( or edit existing) to associate WOR with PROVIEWER %1.

I can't see how you can really knock free software!

Anyway free or not I think ProViewer is a really significant product and
will help make MapInfo the de facto standard here in the UK.

OK - so I am biased - By Design are a MapInfo partner! But seriously the
ability to view and print workspaces I believe will make full MapInfo
the choice for the more serious GIS as well.

We have a product called ProPrinter which can create and edit workspaces
that ProViewer then reads. This allows users who perhaps would never
have bought MapInfo ( or worse still would have gone to Eek View! ) to
scale maps, print copyright etc.

Details about ProPrinter are on our Website at bydesignwales.demon.co.uk

So how about wiping ESRI ArcExplorer now ??

Just kidding!

Regards

Bob.
