That is weird. It works okay from my end. Try clicking on the sidebar link "2004 Precinct KMZ Files" from here:

Those are single layer examples and will open slowly in Google Earth due to file size. they are too large to display in Google Maps. Here is a Google Map derived from Mapt 5.0 showing a Phoenix voting ward with multiple layers. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=http:%2F%2Ffairplan.u31\ .infinology.net%2FBlogMaps%2FPhoenix_Ward_7.kmz&ie=UTF8&ll=33.454933,-11\ 2.138138&spn=0.331125,0.599442&z=11 <http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=http:%2F%2Ffairplan.u3\ 1.infinology.net%2FBlogMaps%2FPhoenix_Ward_7.kmz&ie=UTF8&ll=33.454933,-1\ 12.138138&spn=0.331125,0.599442&z=11> I made some edits to the KML exported from Maptitude 5.0 -- changed line widths. added legends, modifed icons and lables. I'm learning as I go along and would like to see some multiple layer examples using 5.0 as well.
