It might just be me, of course, but I don't see how a discussion of a Fifth International in this venue be anything other than a complete abstraction, if not a joke? If anyone on this list is from a group involved in this process, I'd be curious to hear what they'd say. But otherwise, the entire thing is an undefined and undefinable pipe dream. All we can "discuss" or our own hallucinations based on it. Historically, serious talk of a new international (the viable ones) should be based on a concrete achievement that can provides something material for the world community to digest. Surely, that would have to be an obvious lesson from the stillborn attempts at a Fourth International.
