The problem with BLM is the same problem you see with the DSA.There are definitely pro-capitalist,reformist factions of both.BLM may not be an NGO,but they have the support of NGOs,like the Ford Foundation, and Microsoft Philanthropies,so BLM may for all intents and purposes be an NGO.I won't start taking BLM seriously until they start linking white supremacy and police brutality to capitalism and class struggle.
What do you mean by "linking"? Like chanting "down with capitalism" when they are leading 10,000 people in a protest? Let me clue you in. If they were into chanting "down with capitalism", they'd be leading 1000 people instead of 10,000. The group you belong to emerged as a split from the Workers World Party. In the 1960s, they tried to position themselves to the left of the antiwar movement by marching under neon-colored signs calling for an end to capitalism. This was a sterile, ultraleft tactic. Like the Vietnam antiwar movement, BLM is action-oriented around clear demands such as having a killer cop arrested. Good for them.
