What is not included about WW2, is the most important reason Hitler lost. It was not the Soviet forces - but rather FDR who by aiding the British - was able to defeat their Air War on Britian AND to allow the British to bomb the Norway heavy water sites - that prevented Hitler from completion of a nuclear bomb.
Hitler would have used that nuclear weapon on his missiles - and used it on Moscow. That would have halted the Soviet Red Army advance - with the Soviet leadership likely mostly dead in the Moscow nuclear ashes And great terror and confusion among the survivors in other areas of the Soviet Union. And Hitler would use that nuclear weapon on other areas of the Soviet Union, and including London England We came that close to a far different and even uglier world. England and Russia knocked out of that war. Many of the left were wrong in 1939-1940, in opposing military aid to Britain. But some saw things clearer, such as Albert Einstein. (and this from myself a huge opponent of the British government and monarchy, for their colonial crimes, etc.) The reality of conditions and forces changed in 1939, with Hitler's forces threatening their victory. The ideology of those leftists ignored that reality. The Stalinists actually urged no confronting of Hitler when the Hitler- Stalin Pact announced.
