Yeah. These types of Leninist groups are very good at reaching between 1000 and 2000 members but then they run into a glass ceiling of their own making. They all have a "program" that is so ideologically narrow that it excludes people outside their ranks. Roger, you have to understand that 90 percent of the subscribers here do not belong to groups that have hammers and sickles festooning their website. Except for you and RKOB, we are looking for another way of building a revolutionary movement. My guess is that you've never given much thought to how groups like the SWP and the ISO crash and burn. We are dealing with a serious problem on the left with groups that become sects and/or cults. It is not as if they don't do good things like organize protests, etc., but we are struggling to build a movement that can have the broad appeal of the July 26th Movement or Lenin's party for that matter. In Lenin's party, you didn't have 98 percent of the membership walking around parroting the leadership. They had nasty fights conducted publicly. Maybe you can talk the Becker brothers into debating each other on YouTube but then again that'll never happen. A genuine revolutionary movement would have lively debates just like the kind on Marxmail. I can understand why the PSL feels good to you. Been there, done that. On the other hand, you have to recognize that you are in a space where there is quite a bit of contempt, not just for the PSL, but every other group that thinks it is the avatar of Lenin's party.
