I understand the frustration with writing books. Those of us who do this are products of a time when it seemed to be valuable and important.
For many of us, it has been the only little microscopic corner of the public platform we've been permitted. In a society that disparages anything that takes an attention span, it is easy to forget that books still find their readers and contribute something. And the problem clearly reflects the absence of the kind of movement to which hoped to see. And that will happen at some point.
