D.W. says it is not true when I paraphrase Trotsky's doctrine to be that "there can't be any revolution until the entire world is perfectly ready for one." Well, in 1933 Trotsky preached:
“The proletariat can build a complete socialist society only on the basis of the world division of labor and world cooperation. The undersigned categorically reject, therefore, the theory of ‘socialism in one country.’“ (Writings of Leon Trotsky [1933-34], Pathfinder, 1975, p. 49) So yeah, make a socialist revolution in a country if the moment arrives, then give up cuz it isn't world revolution.
