The responses on this list to this report illustrate the echo chamber that much of the left has fallen into. The responses focus on denouncing the author, denouncing Tommy Robinson and Elon Musk, etc - all of whom deserve denunciation. Such denunciations might feel good to us, but are they effective? The problem is that millions of people won't be swayed by that. They will say, "well if __ is revealing this, good on them." What is the answer, given that the anti-immigrant mood that motivated Brexit has grown since then?
