Comrade John you raise an INCREDIBLY important point. If members of DSA are completelily clueless about the dangers to the trappings of bourgeois democracy represented by Trumpism, then the leadership of DSA has a very important mandate to TEACH their members those dangers --- by checking out for example how ORBAN took over Hungary, etc.
Meanwhile, it appears that the Democratic Establishment especially in Democratic controlled states are beginning to plan to resist. Good for them.
