True, although no historical events should be deemed "inevitable", I've frequently stated that in retrospect we can see why the Russian, Chinese, and other revolutions on the periphery succumbed because of the failure of the revolutions to begin or at least to spread to the more developed core capitalist countries. To be clear, I wasn't playing a "credentials game".
