Thanks, David. I tend to agree. As I noted above, the war fever in the UK, France, and Germany and other NATO countries is being "manufactured" in order to justify an arms buildup mainly in response to a stagnating European economy and partly to pressures from the Trump administration. Actually, I've never bought into Western propaganda that the Russians were bent on conquering western Ukraine, much less the neighbouring states who were formal members of the NATO alliance. In any case, we can only hope that Steve Jermy's hypothesis of a potentially catastrophic NATO-Russia war is never put to the test. A more optimistic and IMO realistic projection would be a negotiated or frozen peace forced upon both capitalist camps by the war weary Ukrainian and Russian masses.
